Thirsty Thursday – Keukenhof Garden

17 September 2008 17 Comments

I had lost my digicam and was visibly upset. Then to my dismay, one weekend we got a chance to visit Keukenhof garden. I was still upset and didn’t want to go and was literally pulled by my colleagues.

And this garden made my day. I was completely awestruck by its beauty. There was a riot of colors around me.. the flowers were vibrant, the trees had so many different colored leaves. I had never imagined it to be so spectacular. Also, there was a film shooting going on for some south Indian film which turned out to be a bonus for us.

The bad quality is due to scanning of the picture which is taken with analog camera. I have written a detailed post here. Check it.

Location:- Keukenhof garden, Amsterdam

    Vandita,
The garden is amazing. I had clicked more than 100 photos from my analog camera. You can imagine how hysterical I had become to see them. :P

    HPY,
Me in the picture ?? Eh NO. Most of the time I am behind it.

BTW, which one you thought is me ??

The heroine ?? Ha Ha.. I am much better. ;)

Just goes to show that the mind’s eye is the camera to our moods, the sadness at losing a camera notwithstanding.

I am so sorry about your camera! I feel the same way – I don’t like going anywhere without my camera now — it feels like half an experience. The only choice is…….to save up and get another one!

    Thank you for liking it.

:) It was sometime back. I think last year.
These thirsty Thursday posts are generally pictograph kind with very little description.
