Colours of Joy !

Today is Holi, a festival of colours.
Holi has an ancient origin and celebrates the triumph of ‘good’ over ‘bad’. Holi is celebrated on the full moon day in the month of Phalugna which usually falls in the later part of February or early March. The colorful festival bridges the social gap and renews sweet relationships. Also, brings me lots of yummy delicacies. ![]()
Wish you all a very Happy Holi !!

Riot of colours!
But Holi always brings fear with it. Fear of water balloons, toxic colours…

Love the colors and hope to be in India during Holi one of these years.

The colour in the Indian festivals is striking. I have always liked the market photos of pots of different coloured items – spice markets do this well.
