Again some scattered thoughts and moments.

Reaching Hat Yai (a.k.a. Had Yai) was no fun.
Though I could speak to a couple of people in the train for 2 minutes, people in my coach were a bit hesitant and not too keen on interacting with each other. After all we were all strangers to each other.

Wherever I go on this earth by train, it looks all the same unless of course I am in some heavenly country such as Switzerland or New Zealand.
Next morning when I looked out of my window, I didn’t know whether we were still in Malaysia or Thailand. Thailand time is one hour behind; train was running late and hence the confusion. I changed my SIM card to Thai one but couldn’t get any connection… changed back to Malaysian.

From Kuala Lumpur I took Langkawi express, a Malaysian train, to enter into Thailand. For your info, Langkawi also happens to be a beautiful place in north west Malaysia. This inter-country train starts in south from Singapore, crosses Malaysia from south to north and enters Thailand.
Initially I was very apprehensive of taking this train, mainly because I never knew what’d happen at the border. But the wish to experience different modes of transport as locals do was much more than my fearfulness.

• I am not getting enough time or internet access to write longer posts. So what I am doing is writing only the titles and putting them in draft. That will remind me later of the topic. I have 52 drafts at this moment.

Celine has asked me what all my backpack contains. Well, I think it’s a bit late to discuss this. My fault of course.
