Absolute silence. Most of the time there was no one in sight, just two of us… occasionally some man on horse would pass by.

The market is flourishing with genuine leather goods. These hand painted leather hands bags come from Kolkata. Do I have to mention that the top shelf had one more masterpiece which is now in my custody.

En route we had tea at this home cum tea shop. The lady is trying to light the stove which is covered with a broken tin canister.

If you’ve come to Matheran, don’t go back without seeing the ‘Lord’s point’ … an advice written on a rock.
