Here is a small video of Flamingos enjoying their feast that I captured on my camera when we visited them recently. I have uploaded it on Youtube. The quality is not that good but then I didn’t have a full fledged video camera with me.
Shot from the barge where repairing work was going on. There was too much of disturbing noise as well, but still you can hear them quacking in contentment.

And I am still travelling, solo, in interiors of Tamil Nadu. These are scheduled posts.

Here it goes…. Flamingos.
Sewri fort was done in a few minutes time and we were in no mood to head back home. We knew Flamingos can be seen somewhere nearby but this was not the right time to see them. We were told, most of them have gone back to Australia from where they come every year. Still we wanted to take a chance. Flamingos having their cuisine.
We walked upto the jetty area. The surrounding …

I like this view very much….

Aamchi Mumbai, Mahim »

A 2 Km stretch from Mahim to Dadar running along the western railway line in Mumbai was painted by some local enthusiasts on India’s independence day. Each artist was provided with a ‘piece’ of wall and raw material.
Some photos from the event. I have many more, will upload some other time.
