Ok, so return journey was quite smooth and boring compared to adventurous departure, the details of which will NOT come out.
Just to give you a glimpse… I had got a nasty six inch deep blue-black mark on my thigh, sprained ankle and one wheel of my strolley had come off. All this at Churchgate station itself and I had exactly 9 minutes to catch my train from VT. And remember I was traveling alone and doctor had advised me against lifting even half a kg weight ?

Sometime back I had written about ASI (Archaeological Survey of India) being an issuing authority for a common entry ticket for all World Heritage sites in India. This was mainly done to reduce the waiting period in queue and other hassles faced while visiting these places.

The new year has begun with joy and happiness. It brings some changes to this site as well. Some happened and hopefully some will happen shortly.

If you have not noticed, the site

The ministry of Culture, Govt of India has announced that ASI (Archaeological Survey of India) will issue a common entry ticket for all World Heritage sites in the country except Taj Mahal for which a special entry ticket will be issued.
The scheme is likely to be introduced within next 3 months. This is quite a welcome sign as it will reduce time to stand in long queues in front each monument.

I thought I will update you what’s going on here on this blog.
First, I am way behind my schedule to write about the places I have been to. There is so much to write. But at the same time I am in no hurry or in competition and so, at present I am content with writing smaller posts with pictures which give you some insights about the place.

I came across a beautiful video which has captured and condensed 24 hours of global air traffic in just 2 minutes !
The yellow dots are aircrafts. Note that as evening approaches, the traffic is predominantly from the US to Europe (Eastbound) and when daylight comes, the traffic switches and it is predominantly from Europe to the US (Westbound).
Have you also noticed how less is traffic movement over deserts of Africa or even in parts of southern America ?
