Pariyon ka Talaab, meaning the ‘Lake of Fairies’, lies near Shuli Bhanjan on way to Ellora from Aurangabad. On internet you’ll mostly find that the distance mentioned is 60 km but that’s a wrong information. I have visited it and my first hand information says it is at a distance of 25-30 kms north from Aurangabad.

Even the dark clouds could not deter the big banyan tree from looking into the mirror of serene water.

Geneva was the first city I was posted and so it has a special place in my heart. I had seen some places before, but this was the first time I was on my own and alone. I was excited.

While coming back from Panchgani, we stopped at Venna Lake for some boating. It has changed its face since we visited it last time three years back.
The Venna Lake is a great attraction to everybody with its dazzling sight, boating, fishing, newly came up dam and stalls for games and eatables. It is within walking distance from Town Mahabaleshwar.
It also supplies drinking water to the town. Venna Lake has an area of 28 Acres and average depth of the 10 ft.

“Jaipur se gaadi nikli, dilli chali halle-halle” If you happen to remember this quite old song from a Rishi Kapoor/Sridevi starrer then probably you know what I want to say.
Sorry I was young then, don’t remember the name of this movie. I would appreciate if someone helps me getting the song. Ever since I saw this song on television, I had fallen in love with that place and wanted to go there. I had a dream… to visit the place where they have such small working models of running trains …
