Even the dark clouds could not deter the big banyan tree from looking into the mirror of serene water.

After so many hurdles such as road being washed away by continuous rains, travelling in broken state buses, getting stuck in 3 KMs road jam, staying at a very small place (best available room was for Rs 250/-), at last reached at this serene place.

How will you feel or react when in an unknown country all of a sudden you are singled out and with no fault of yours, asked to leave it ASAP. While coming back from Panchgani, we stopped at Venna Lake for some boating. It has changed its face since we visited it last time three years back.
The Venna Lake is a great attraction to everybody with its dazzling sight, boating, fishing, newly came up dam and stalls for games and eatables. It is within walking distance from Town Mahabaleshwar.
It also supplies drinking water to the town. Venna Lake has an area of 28 Acres and average depth of the 10 ft.
