The monsoon seemed to have arrived here. Or are they just pre-monsoon showers?
In any case, I am yearning to go on a trip where I could chase them down. It doesn’t matter if I lose my way in doing so.

Somewhere chasing the black clouds….
We drove on these ‘roads’ for around 12 KMs with no life in sight, only

Picture of the moment: Jalan Petaling
Picture of the moment is a weekly series exhibiting pictures from around the world.
When I turned to this street, I knew I had to click a photo of it to share with my people back home. The colorful houses in a row opposite the road were invitingly attractive. These houses are very old and each one of them has a story attached to it.

But if you want to go there just to check in your list of places in this city, please do not go. It does not have anything to offer to such visitors. You have to live & experience the place. The visit is free but it takes your time and your thoughts. Even locals …

True to its claim, Malaysia is really a reflection of Asia in every manner. Beautiful in its own way. The major touristy cities are busy and bustling with life while the hills are quiet and calm. The people are very helpful and friendly everywhere even if they don’t understand your language.

Trisha in Malacca
I consider myself a traveler more than a tourist. Obviously, we wanted to see and live the real Malaysia. We wanted to see its people and learn something about them and their country. So, booking a packaged tour …
