Night photography requires special equipment and a steady hand. I had neither.
Right. On my casual trip to Lavasa, I was carrying a not so fancy camera and was so excited with meeting other people that I was almost running like a small pup whose owners have come back home. You get the picture. 🙂
Still I could not resist myself from clicking a few shots when I saw those colorful reflections of light on Lavasa lake.
Have a look.

P.S.- This morning I am off to a short trip again. 🙂

Beautiful pics, Nisha! as good as I expected them to be!
Beautiful pics… Looks great, the night shots!!
Have a nice and safe journey 🙂
I use my mobile for taking pictures but they never come so good at night.
Lavasa seems more like a tourist destination than a proper city to live in…
And short trip on a Monday morning! Great…
Great night shots- even if you didn’t have special equipment with you.
An Arkies Musings
What gorgeous pictures!!!!! Bravo- it shows you are indeed a marvelous photographer.
these are nice frames, though u cud have done a few things to avoid the blur. next time when u try to take a night shot, see if u can keep the camera at some place (a wall … may be) and use timer for taking the shot. its not easy to take night shots hand held. a tripod is ideal.
great, great shots.. were u clicking all 24 hours, I think I saw u asleep for few hours…but..but…but…this is fantastic…just love it… 🙂 🙂

Oh what beautiful pictures! Lavasa is so near Pune and after seeing your pics I am inspired to spend a weekend there.
Thanks for sharing!
Dilip,
Sure, it’s worth spending a weekend there. It’s such a beautiful place (leave alone the political part for the time being) that one of my photos is now printed as postcard and is in great demand. 😀
