Welcome to Matheran !
Toy train ! Going uphill to Matheran.
Can your eyes see something else here? 🙂
We have our own version of Table top.
Absolute silence. Most of the time there was no one in sight, just two of us… occasionally some man on horse would pass by.
A portion of earth caved in due to rains.
Single seater hand rickshaw with its owner.
The market is flourishing with genuine leather goods. These hand painted leather hands bags come from Kolkata. Do I have to mention that the top shelf had one more masterpiece which is now in my custody. 😛
En route we had tea at this home cum tea shop. The lady is trying to light the stove which is covered with a broken tin canister.
If you’ve come to Matheran, don’t go back without seeing the ‘Lord’s point’ … an advice written on a rock. 😀
And now the question. Let me know what you liked most. And what do you relate Matheran to?
