There is much more to Spain than the mainland !
Seriously! When I think of the time I spent in Spain, it makes me feel so incomplete. I must admit, it wasn’t enough. Such a beautiful country with so many hidden gems. I wanted to go many other towns which I had heard or seen in only photos. I have been dreaming of Canary Islands since long, much before than I even started blogging !
So, if you’re looking for a bit of sizzling Spanish fun this year, with plenty of sun, sangria and siestas thrown in, you won’t have to look too far to get it. Yes, you can make a beeline for the mainland, and enjoy a city break in bustling Valencia. Or you can head for the golden coast and enjoy stacks of cheesy fun in Benidorm, with all the karaoke and English pubs you could ever wish for. Or perhaps you prefer the slightly more upmarket resort of Costa de la Luz, where chic wine bars and pristine beaches are the name of the game?
Whatever you fancy, there’s much more to Spain than the mainland.
For starters, the fabulous Balearic Islands are a great holiday destination and one that can cater to virtually every taste and budget imaginable. You’ve got versatile Majorca, which does city breaks in its fabulous capital, Palma, just as easily as it does family fun by the beach or loud ‘n lively clubbing holidays.
If clubbing is on the agenda, you can’t miss a holiday to Ibiza – the godfather of clubbing holidays. Whether you’re after cheap holidays to Ibiza or an all-out five-star getaway, it’s all there for the taking. Or if that’s too much adrenalin for one holiday, head over to sleepy Menorca for a charming getaway with a laid-back vibe.
The Canary Islands are another Spanish gem. Located just off the west coast of Africa, these sizzling islands boast year-round sunshine, superb beach resorts and fascinating volcanic landscapes that never fail to impress.
Exams over, holiday time. Now is a great time to look for deals on Tenerife holidays, beach-centric trips to Gran Canaria, relaxing holidays or a bit of everything in Lanzarote. So get searching and snap up those great deals before somebody else does!
Whatever you fancy, you’ll find everything – sun, sea, sand and sangria included – on a Spanish island holiday.
